The Ultimate Char Siu Pork Recipe for a Flavor Explosion

Ingredients

To make char siu pork, you will need 2 pounds of pork shoulder or tenderloin, 1/4 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 1/4 cup of hoisin sauce, 1/4 cup of Shaoxing wine (or dry sherry), 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon of Chinese five-spice powder, 2 teaspoons of minced garlic, and 1 teaspoon of red food coloring (optional).

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, Shaoxing wine, vegetable oil, five-spice powder, minced garlic, and red food coloring.
